In a heartwarming display of unity and generosity, Value City has reaffirmed its commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of those in need. On September 21, 2023, the entire Value City family, including Directors, Management, and Staff, came together to make an extraordinary contribution of $53,241.40 to WOWSkids Fiji, marking the beginning of a promising long-term partnership.
A Community United:
The contribution breakdown highlights the remarkable efforts and generosity of the Value City community.
VC BRANCHES & STAFF EFFORT:
Value City’s 15 branches nationwide, supported by friends and family, organized August Morning Tea events that raised a remarkable $10,161.70. These events not only collected funds but also served as a testament to the unity within the Value City family.
MORNING TEA EVENT:
In a separate fundraising initiative, an additional $11,338.00 was collected, showcasing the genuine desire within the community to make a meaningful impact.
DONATIONS IN KIND:
Value City further demonstrated its commitment by contributing $5,121.00 in donations in kind, providing vital support to WOWSkids Fiji in various ways.
Combined, these efforts resulted in a grand total of $26,620.70 raised by Value City and its supporters.
Doubling the Impact:
The generosity didn’t stop there. Value City (SP) Pte Ltd Fiji decided to match all contributions made by its community. This extraordinary act of kindness effectively doubled the value of the donation, bringing the total to an astonishing $53,241.40, with $42,999.40 in cash and $10,242 in kind.
