CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Our biggest project to date is the donation of books for libraries.
Medical text books have been donated to the libraries of College of Medicine, Nursing & Health Sciences Suva, University of Fiji – Umanand Prasad School of Medicine Lautoka and the Sangam College of Nursing & Health Care Labasa, on a yearly basis since 2015
Many of these medical text books have been invaluable to our student doctors and nurses.
We have also assisted with donations of reference books for doctors and nurses at several hospitals.
We have worked with the Ministry of Education to help build up library books for all cyclone Winston affected schools.
Value City visited many schools in Ra, Tavua & Ba who faced this huge devastation, while our counterparts in this venture Books 4 PNG Kids of Brisbane Australia visited schools in Savusavu, Taveuni & Ovalau, to make these donations.
It was really emotional to see level of destruction but gratifying to meet happy cheerful children who were so excited to receive books.
